Monitoring the Conditions of Hydraulic Oil with Integrated Oil Sensors in Construction Equipment

Maintenance and reliability are crucial aspects for operating construction equipment in harsh environmental conditions. One of the methods used to improve maintenance is oil diagnosis. In this study, monitoring conditions was performed through use an integrated sensor hydraulic equipment. Hydraulic polluted by various materials such as moisture dust. Therefore, present work investigated change state caused presence major pollutants The degree contamination evaluated using that could measure absolute viscosity, density, temperature dielectric constant. It difficult determine influence each pollutant source on oil. a simple experimental device diagnostic program were constructed effectively variations properties contaminant source. particular, focus constant examination its usefulness. addition testing laboratory, varnish-contaminated lubricants actual verified. results showed little when introducing dust improper lubricants. However, affected incorporation water generation varnish, which led evident variations. direct correlation found between varnish measured sensor, cause explained based elemental component analysis. measuring condition can provide useful information regarding lubricant machine condition; however, most detecting deterioration.
